New knee, knew brace, new board – Amazing day!

After much physio, rehab and healing on my precious reconstructed knee, I finally ventured onto the water on my new Fanatic stand up paddle board. The timing of getting my new custom made brace from Ortema and new SUP from Fanatic was perfect, and coincided with a glorious, sunny (but freezing!) January day on the West Wales coast! Paddling along the magical Pembrokeshire coast, feeling the fresh Atlantic sea and wind, saying hello to the fat, cute seals again, and being miles away from technology, reminded me that the ocean and nature is the best way to boost healing and find balance in this crazy, fast paced life. Stand up paddle boarding on flat water also seems to be an excellent way of gently introducing my knee to life back on the rolling sea! With the added support of my Ortema knee brace I will be back thrashing the waves in no time! (but not before the doctor says of course ;-)
